The Joy of the Lord is our Strength!

Well, we got the call today from the doctor that we've been waiting for, to find out whether or not Noah has MPS (mucopolysacharidosis). The results came back NORMAL. Praise God!!! We are so thankful for the miracle of healing that we believe God gave Noah. All the other tests came back normal as well. One thing they did diagnosis is a mark on the base of his spine. According the X-Ray, Noah has "spina bifida occulta" (hidden). Basically, this doesn't mean a thing... many people have it and don't even know it... My dad actually has the same thing! It shouldn't mean anything other than keeping on eye on his spine as he grows. At the doctor again this week for a weight check, we found out that Noah has gained 12 ounces in the last 2 weeks. That's great... keep growing, buddy! He's now up to 18 pounds, 9 ounces.

As we were waiting for the results, we were praying that God would give us faith to praise Him, regardless of the outcome. We want to continually rejoice in the LORD, not in what He is doing for us. We want to have the kind of faith to keep believing, keep loving, keep serving God, even if He doesn't give us what we want. Circumstances don't change the character of Almighty God. And His presence is truly all we need... our joy and our strength!
