Kids' Christmas celebrations

This week is full of Christmas parties and celebrations for the kids. Sunday night was the church Christmas program ("Cookin Up Christmas"). The girls have been working very hard on their songs and they did such a great job (in spite of Rylee picking her nose and glaring at & elbowing the kids next to her when they accidentally bumped her while doing their motions). Noah could have gone up to sing with the 3-year-old class (Away in a Manger), but he wanted to play toys in nursery instead, and that was much less stress for me, so he'll make his debut next year!

Today in his class, though, they did a little Christmas program for the parents. It was SO SWEET! I am so bummed that I didn't think to bring my camera. When we walked in, all the kids were lined up in 2 rows, holding their jingle bells. They "sang" 3 Christmas songs for us, with their motions. It was just precious! Then we got to decorate & eat Christmas cookies.

Rylee has her class party/ program tomorrow and Anna does on Friday.

It's so much fun to celebrate and to see the wonder and excitement of Christmas through their eyes. I pray we can keep Jesus at the center of it all!
