Summertime

I've been so bad at updating the blog. Not sure if anyone still reads it, but it's a good way for me to journal and keep track of our pictures and remember the events of our crazy lives! :) Well Summer is in full swing! Anna is in age group swim through Zeeland Rec. She has practices every day (Mon - Thurs) and has meets once a week. She loves it! Here are some pictures of last weeks' meet at Byron Center: We had a fun and very relaxing week up at a cottage we rent on Big Star Lake with Jim & Nancy & (some) of their kids. Lots of fun and great family memories!Today for the 4th of July holiday, we had a relaxing day at the pool with some friends. Tonight will be our "fireworks" show at the end of the driveway ($30 worth of cheap Meijer fireworks...the kids don't know the difference yet!).
This weekend I'll begin Summer Serve through Compassionate Heart. I'm so excited about a week of worshipping, serving, playing, laughing, and growing in Christ with 41 amazing special needs participants and 35 mentors! Can't wait to see what God has in store!
