Last week Thursday, Rylee had her tonsils and adenoids removed. We've had a whole winter full of strep throat, colds, and stomach aches. We're hoping this is an end to all of that! The surgery went really well and we got to go to the new De Vos Children's Hospital... wow...what a great place! Rylee's been recovering well, although in the last 2 days, she's gotten quite a bit worse. Swallowing hurts so bad, and about the only thing she's been getting down is the medicine (with some major coaxing!). I've heard this recovery can take 2 to 3 weeks, and we're on day 8 right now. Hoping she bounces back soon!
So, that's how we've been spending our Spring Break. On the couch, reading books, watching movies, playing DS, napping, eating Popsicles. Not too bad! We set up a tent for the kids to sleep in at night (downstairs), so they think it's the best Spring Break ever!!! Cool... and it was super cheap, too! :)

It has been about a week since you posted and I hope that Rylee is feeling a lot better!! It is sad when kids have surgery but she looks so cute in her little hospital gown :)
