At the close of a great youth group night last week Wednesday, Terp and the other leaders and students presented me with a beautiful quilt for Noah. The squares are made up of favorite quotes and scriptures that everyone submitted. The fabric is multi-colored, very "Guatemalan." We are so blessed to have so many faithful friends and prayer warriors who have walked with us through so much. This quilt will be a treasured reminder of how Noah (and all of us) are covered in God's truth and promises. Now, I have the itch to re-do Noah's room, decorating around the colors of the quilt (which we plan to hang on the wall). Also in the last couple of weeks, we've moved to a new stage with Noah. He has always been very content, but now he's become more happy. You can see his eyes light up when one of us comes into the room; he laughs and does all kinds of cute, silly games. He's also learned to say "Ma-Mee" instead of "Ma!" and he knows it means "mommy." We're so in love! It's really hard to believe he's only been home a little less than 3 months. It really feels like he's been a part of our family forever. The girls are doing just great, too. Rylee & Noah have been playing really well together. It's oh-so-busy, but oh-so-fun. We're trying to slow down and enjoy each moment. What a blessing!
